Firmware difference between SCHENKER MEDIA with RTX 3060 and Ryzen 4000 vs. Ryzen 5000:

• SCHENKER MEDIA with Ryzen 4000 and Ryzen 5000 use slightly different EC and BIOS firmware, despite using the same "AE21" Product ID (AMD Early 2021)
• If you try to flash the BIOS from one on the other, you will get this error message: "Cannot update BIOS with different platform name"
  • This error message will stop the procedure. There is no risk of damaging your laptop if you pick the wrong file from this page by accident.
• Please make sure you use the EC/BIOS download package which included your CPU in the filename. Examples:
  • #1: Ryzen-4600H-and-4800H
  • #2: Ryzen-5800H
• If you want to double check which CPU is in your system, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
• Both platforms share the same drivers and are (except EC/BIOS) identical in terms of features (only the CPU is different), that's why we combine both variations on this single download page.
