    • Don't remove the flash drive during the flash process until the laptop shuts down completely.
    • The flashing process will take some time and the device can restart several times during the flashing process.
    • During the flashing process, the Power LED might flicker for a period of time.

  • IMPORTANT:
    • If your XMG EVO (E25) has AMD Ryzen 7 H 255, you must select the "Factory Reset" option when installing this driver for the first time.
    • If the driver is installed without this "Factory Reset", the system will crash and freeze during installation (grey screen).
    • In this situation, the system must then be powered off manually (hold power button for long time).
    • The system will then be operational again. The driver must then be reinstalled, this time with the "Factory Reset" option enabled.

BIOS Compatibility Notice

XMG EVO (E25) is available with two different CPU platforms. These two CPU platforms share the same drivers, but use different BIOS firmware. Both of them are listed here on this page. Each BIOS update package (ZIP file) includes the CPU series name in its filename.

Please double-check which CPU is in your system before you attempt to update your BIOS.
One way to check the CPU: press Win+R, type "msinfo32" and confirm, or search for "System Information" in Windows Start Menu.

Note: there are yet no BIOS updates available for AMD Ryzen 200 series, that's why this page currently only lists one update for AMD Ryzen AI 300 series
