Important notice:
- If your BIOS is older than BIOS 0144, installing the latest BIOS is urgently recommended to maintain battery health (see announcement).
- If you are coming from BIOS 0122 or earlier, you might need to install this update twice for it to take full effect.
- If you are coming from BIOS 0134 or earlier, please note it may take up to three charging cycles for the battery management system to learn to read the charge correctly.
Notice on battery replacement:
- If you replace your battery, please run the "Reset-Battery-Manufacture-Date" tool afterwards to gain optimal battery capacity.
- Please do not run the tool if you have not recently replaced your battery. Run it only once during a battery's lifetime.
