Compatibility notice

Difference in CPU generation:

• XMG P507 and P707 are available in two different sub-generations: 2016 and 2017, based on two different CPU platform generations.
• These two generations use different BIOS and are not compatible with each other.
• This page provides drivers and firmware for the 2016 version with 6th generation Intel Core, compatible with:
  • i7-6700HQ
  • i7-6820HK
• If you are looking for the 2017 generation with 7th generation Intel Core, see table below.

Difference in GPU versions:

• XMG P507 and P707 are available with two different GPUs: GTX 1060 and GTX 1070
• XMG P507 with GTX 1070, XMG P707 with GTX 1060 and XMG P707 with GTX 1070 use the same EC and BIOS firmware
• XMG P507 with GTX 1060 use a different EC and BIOS firmware
• Please double-check your own GPU against the GPU listed in the filename of the Firmware ZIP package
