    • Due to the large version jump, two separate flash steps are needed and BIOS downgrades to BIOS N.1.20A16 or earlier are NOT POSSIBLE anymore after installing this or any later update
    • Please make sure to check the README included in the firmware package!

      • Before executing the update, please back up your BitLocker/device-encryption recovery key.
      • Failure to do so may cause you to become unable to log in to the operating system after BIOS update.

      • Don't remove the flash drive during the flash process until the laptop shuts down completely.
      • The flashing process will take some time and the device can restart several times during the flashing process.

• EC and BIOS updates are not identical between the two different versions of XMG PRO 16 (E25), XMG PRO 16 (M25) and XMG PRO 16 Value Edition (M25):
  • with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (this page)
  • with Intel Core i9-13900HX and i9-14900HX (click here)
• Please double-check which CPU is in your system before you attempt to update your BIOS.
• One way to check the CPU: press Win+R, type "msinfo32" and confirm, or search for "System Information" in Windows Start Menu.
